Vijey Ananda has been appointed Commercial Director of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Academy – ICC’s ground-breaking education initiative. His role will focus on the development of the Academy’s commercial functions – identifying new opportunities for growth through strategic planning and developing a vibrant commercial plan, as well as working to distribute ICC Academy services around the world by implementing new sales and marketing programmes.

With over 17 years of experience across the corporate banking industry – where he held positions at Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America and HSBC –Mr Ananda has a strong and diverse background perfectly suited to the ICC Academy’s broadening areas of operation. Outside banking, Mr Ananda worked with Singapore Airline’s International Relations division and with ADP (Automatic Data Processing) where he successfully developed their global payroll outsourcing business within the Asia financial services industry.
