A big highlight at this conference is having Mr Alp Burak Beder , the Performance Management Advisor of the Ministry of Finance, UAE who comments, “Due to the stormy nature of the recent years importance of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) emerged rapidly and greatly. There couldn’t be any better time than this for applying CPM practice. We believe CFO Forum will be a great opportunity for sharing knowledge and experience and exchanging ideas.  It’s not only private sector who does CPM and who needs it. The current climate impacts government entities too, unless they have the tools to tackle it such as CPM. UAE Ministry of Finance is the perfect example of how a government entity should apply the principles of CPM.”

In this dynamic Middle East CFO forum, delegates will be exposed to the evolving responsibilities of today’s CFOs towards organisational excellence. This forum highlights on frameworks and skills in strategy development, leadership, compliance and better articulation to win the support of all key stakeholders. It also acts as a platform to develop the ‘next practices’ for CFOs by equipping with the competencies needed to augment corporate performance management (CPM) in organisations.

Also speaking at this conference, Mr Iyad Abdalrahim who is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Dubai Properties Group shares his insight, “As the market is evolving to post crisis mode, the pillars of every CFO’s strategies learnt from  both the far and near past has drastically changed. Getting insights into such newly developed strategies directly  from the people who faced it, successfully managed it, and developed the right CFO set of skills as a result is a MUST, and this is what this Forum is facilitating in my opinion”.
