Working capital solutions specialist Demica has announced the new appointment of Sarah M. Gannon as Director Business Development. Sarah, who reports directly to Demica’s CEO Phillip Kerle, is responsible for establishing key customer relationships with financial institutions, private equity firms and large corporates across the globe, as well as developing strategic business plans to maximise sales opportunities. Using her extensive experience in the field of structured finance, Sarah will play an active role in driving sales of the company’s consulting, advisory and processing services for trade receivables securitisation, supply chain finance and invoice discounting products.
Sarah Gannon comments, “I am delighted to be appointed to this role at Demica. As a market-leading provider of specialised working capital solutions, Demica has a very strong expertise and comprehensive experience in helping the world’s leading banks, private equity sponsors and global corporations implement innovative solutions for their securitisation and supply chain finance requirements. As effective working capital management has become a top priority on the management agenda, I look forward to helping Demica explore the significant potential in the market and to extend the reach of its products and services to new clients.”
Sarah brings with her a wealth of experience in the financing of securities. Prior to joining Demica, she was the Commercial Director for Structured Finance Services (SFS) and Hedge Funds Administration at TMF Group, where she was instrumental in building market share with international banks, asset managers, hedge funds and boutique firms as well as developing SFS offerings. She previously worked at Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander as Vice President of Securities Financing Sales and Treasury, where she led the marketing, sales and execution of all Securities Finance instruments. Earlier in her career, Sarah had a 4-year stint at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi as assistant manager for its Securitisation Group before joining HSBC as a Senior Associate of the Conduit Securitisation Group.
CEO Phillip Kerle adds: “Sarah’s abundant experience in driving better client interactions and identifying growth opportunities, along with her background in finance, made her an ideal candidate for this role. Her proven track record in developing strong relationships with key clients in her previous capacities will be an invaluable asset for Demica. We are thrilled to have her on board to help the company build further visibility in the market and grow our business.”
