The new service will allow Empower’s customers to know the outstanding balance and make the payment of their district cooling consumption bills at all ENBD ATMs and CDMs across the UAE.

Dubai, UAE, 7 June 2017: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, launched payment facility for its customers through Emirates NBD (ENBD) bank’s ATMs and CDMs across the country. The new service is part of wider customer relation management (CRM) initiatives now being implemented by Empower.

The new service will allow Empower’s more than 65,000 customers to perform almost all the activities related to their district cooling consumption bills, such as viewing the outstanding amount, statements, making payments and getting a receipt at ENBD’s more than 500 ATMs and CDMs in the UAE. In addition, customers can make payment by depositing cash or if the customer has an ENBD account through an online transfer, using the ATM/CDM.

    Empower CEO Ahmad Bin Shafar

“At Empower we aim to provide all the sophisticated facilities to our customers to ease the payment processes. The new facility, combined with many other modes of payments already made available, will not only drive customer engagement to new levels, but also cater to the increasing expectations of our customers and reinvent the role of ATMs in the fast changing omni-channel world that we live in,” said HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.

“Advances in technology not only facilitate ease of convenience, but also make it easier for customers to manage their account from anywhere, anytime. Our strategic partnership with Emirates NBDwill help our customers manage and pay their bills from any corner in an instant. We are confident that the deployment of this new service will further add to strengthening our customer base and their expectations,” added HE Ahmad Bin Shafar.

The service, which went live this month, is available on all the machines of ENBD across the UAE offering customers safe, secure, and integrated transactions and an enriched experience. To make it easier for customers, a detailed user-manual is also available on the company’s website which explains to first-time users on how to use Empower’s payment facilities and also demonstrates how they can pay with credit cards.

Empower currently operates more than 1.250 Million RT, providing environmentally responsible district cooling services to large-scale real estate developments such as Jumeirah Group, Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Ibn Battuta Mall, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai World trade Centre Residences, Dubai Design District, among others.
