The UAE Ministry of Economy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Malaysian company KW Group Sdn Bhd, organisers of Global Trade Development Week.

His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister for Economy, is the patron of this event and has pledged to support and partner with the event for the next three years.

Therefore, Global Trade Development Week 2015 (GTDW), is to be held in Dubai from 27 -29 October.

H.E. Al Mansoori, speaking about the highlights of the event, said, ”The UAE is proud to host GTDW – a major annual international forum committed to increasing knowledge and dialogue between government and private sector trade leaders. We look forward to welcoming international trade, investment and economic development leaders, to the UAE and supporting the growth of this mega trade event over the next three years with the KW Group”.

Michelle Wong, founder and managing partner of KW Group, said, “KW Group is extremely proud to have partnered with the UAE Ministry of Economy to host Global Trade Development Week and exhibition in Dubai for the next three years.

“To gain such recognition from the Ministry of Economy of the UAE, one of the most dynamic economies in the world, is a testament to the international success of our event, and the growing success of the KW Group on the international stage.

“The group prides itself on our strong partnerships that span eastern and western hemispheres, and this commitment from the UAE Ministry of Economy signals our growing international influence…”

GTDW was developed in Malaysia, growing internationally to become an unprecedented annual gathering of more than 1000 international trade and economic development leaders from government and the private sector.

The event in Dubai will be addressed by more than 150 speakers, including those from the World Trade Organisation.
