Deutsche Bank Appoints Andrew Rand as Regional Head of Direct Securities Services in EMEA

London 8 May 2012 – Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Andrew Rand as Regional Head of Direct Securities Services (DSS) in EMEA within the Trust & Securities Services group of its Global Transaction Banking division.
As one of the world’s leading securities services agent banks, Deutsche Bank’s DSS business provides a full range of custody, clearing and settlement, agency securities lending and fund services in over 33 securities markets across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Based in Frankfurt, Andrew Rand joins Deutsche Bank from Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), Boston where he was Head of Global Network Management. Andrew was responsible for managing the global subcustodian banks for BBH and has over 20 years’ industry experience. Andrew will report to Thibaud de Maintenant, Global Head of Direct Securities Services.
