Al-Khobar- (February 09, 2014) – Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in association with Dr. Saud Al-Ammari Law Firm (Blakes), a leading business law firm, announced the further strengthening of its team in the Gulf region with the admission of Mr. Tim Sunar to the partnership of the Firm.  Blakes has an office in Al Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and an office in Manama, Bahrain, through its affiliation with the law firm of Dr. SaudAl-Ammari.

Mr. Sunar joined Blakes in 2006, first in its Toronto office and then as part of the team which established the Firm’s presence in the Gulf region in 2009.  His practice focuses primarily on advising clients on a range of commercial transactions with an emphasis on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, international joint ventures, and reorganizations.  Among the Firm’s various clients, he advises multinationals, family businesses and institutional investors active across the GCC and MENA regions, including with respect to investments inbound to and outbound from these markets.
